Previously Lucknow, India (LKO) was not that good but the new airport is really superb. Even the CISF guys are very co-operative and polite the airport staff is also good and they have all modern gadgets and beautiful buses. All this changed because of the former prime minister Shri Atal Behari Ji. The parking is also very well managed.
There is huge cleanliness drive and you cannot find even a speck of dust anywhere . The toilets are new and good. Only eyesore is the traffic police guys manning the prepaid taxi counters who shout obscenities at the top of their voice unmindful of anybody.
This is even a better airport than IGI because people here are really polite and co-operative. Everything works with clockwork precision. There is very good airconditioning and lots of cheap snacks are available in contrast to Delhi Airport where everything is so expensive and sometimes not available at all.
One huge plus point with the airport is that it is not really so far from the city centre and lots of means of transport are available at all. I guess we should thank Atalji for all this.
