LUCKY ALI is one of my favorite singer. Hewas born on 19 September 1958 and his real name is MAQSOOD MAHMOOD ALI. He is an Indian singer, composer, songwriter and an actor.He is the son of the legendary comedian actor MEHMOOD ALI.He is the second children of Mehmood. He has attended Hampton Court, St. Georges College in Mussoorie for his education. He is a practising Muslim and he loves to recite Quran. He had a conflicting emotion with his father as Mehmood was busy in his acting career in the 60’s and 70’s, so he couldn’t give time to his son.
Once, when Lucky was four he was returning from his boarding and the entire family came to receive him and Lucky couldn’t recognize his father but said "He is the comedian actor Mehmood." He also had a tough days as he was addicted to marijuana. LUCKY’S first song was sung in the film "Dushman Duniya Ka".He launched a very soulful album "SUNOH" which made a foot step in his singing career. After that he had launched some hit albums like Sifar, Aks, Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hain, Meri Jaan Hindustan whose popular song was Anjaani Raahon Mein. He had sungs many songs which are melodious and soulful like the one in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain, Kaante, Paathshala, Bachna Ae Haseeno and many more. There is a whole list of it. My personal favorite is Na Tum Jaano Naa Hum from Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain.
