Well, I just saw the flick and I’ll be to the point without revealing much
a) The papers have been unneccessarily harsh
b) The comedy is good - in the first half very good
c) songs are well OK to good - Lucky Lips is cool but suffers from indifferent choregraphy
d) Salman is - well Salman - he can make you feel what he feels which is the hallmark of a good actor
e)Sneha is good in her own innocent way. Can’t blame the kid for its her first movie and she’s passed ( wonder if the 4Leaf had something to do with this)
f) Don’t forget to notice the character of her younger sis Dhara too
g) Mithunda adds spice, plays a wonderful cameo - felt like giving a full bloodied ’seeti’ after a long time
h) Shot in Russia the locales are good
i) Aptly supported by exquisite camerawork
j) Songs are good, Lucky Lips esp - but suffer from indifferent choreography
k) Climax is too stretched and positively grates. You feel apart from the poor actors and the cameraman everybody else on the sets had hypothermia.
l) I wonder though : a) How come inspite of surving a battle for survival for 4 days, Salman is cleanshaven throughout. b) How did they expect the plane in the climax to fly when the engine cowling was slammed shut ?-- Any clues?
