Well Ludacris is creating a new niche in Hip Hop, he’s got some true impact on the game...Look at 50, he’s trying to bring it Hardcore [not quite successful, but trying] EM, he’s just different, dope lyrics whack style [Read my review on EMINEM for the LD]...But Ludacris, well he’s the ONLY rapper of the current era to change the game!!! He’s the taken over as the heir to cause change...right up there after others like
Grandmaster Flash, The Furious 5, Ice T, LL Cool J, 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Diddy, Mary J. Blige, DMX.........Ludacris!
That’s right, Luda’s there too...All the rappers mentioned up there have taken the game up a notch, and brought the game harder and harder! They’ve also generated new niches for themselves and others, expanding the game...
Ok now, rewinding a bit, above I mentioned Kanye in bold...Yeah he’s amazing, but I mean he’s not changing the game at all...He’s simply playing on in the niche created by Biggie...yeah they’re styles are really similar, no surprise, Biggie is Kanye’s largest inspiration!
So yeah as an artist, Luda is definitely one of the best around today! Aint no doubt bout that...One of the most creative, daring, dope and krunk lyricist and rapper of today, let’s give it up for the Durty South!!!
