Travelling from Chennai To Frankfurt I had to wait for over 1.5 hours in queue for check - in at Chennai Airport. There were families with children and also old folks who were all tired by the time they got their board cards. They did not have enough counters !
On a flight from Chennai to Frankfurt which is about 10 hours, Lufthansa offers you just one full meal and a snack. When I returned I was given a meal shortly after take off and I was offered a snack just before touch down. On arrival after immigration, baggage and customs I managed to get out of the Airport at about 1 AM - I was starving and could find no place to eat at that time.
The in-flight attendant said that it was part of some new experiment of Lufthansa - Why am I paying for their experiments?
I wrote to their customer care and no response in the last eight weeks ! Also wrote to Mr.Wolfgang Mayrhuber the CEO of Lufthansa - He has not bothered to reply either. Most travelers prefer Lufthansa for their connections from Frankfurt to rest of Europe and USA, however I would urge them to consider ME based airlines like Emirates/Etihad in future.
How else can we make Lufthansa realise that they cannot treat Asians like animals?
