L.E. College is very old college. It was made by King of Morbi(Maharaja Lakhadhirsinhj)District Rajkot.At that time tere was only three engineering college in Gujarat, 1.L.D.Engg. Ahemedabad 2. L. E. College 3. In vadodara.
I am happy to write my review about my college.
It is my college, because I was in V.C.Tech. High school from 1956 to 1959 in std. 8-11 with tecnical subjects. Technical subject were done in L.E.College After that I did F. y.sc. and inter sc. outside .After that I joined L.E.College for Degree in civil engg. B.E. Civil branch and studied for next three years .Totally I was connected with college for 4+3=7 years.
At that time college offered Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and electrical branch(D.M.E., D.C.E., D.E.E.) and in Degree B.E.Civil, B.E.Mech., B.E. Elec.branch.
At that time there was no any girl student now there are quite in numbers and live in ladies hostel.College spread in big area of campus, building for classes, workshop, different laboratories, boys hostel, girls hostels, drawing hall library etc.Standard of education is high and graduate coming out from college gets direct admission in any foreign(U.S.A.) master degree program.After my graduation I also went U.S.A. for further study and became green card holder of U.S.A.
It is a very good experience to study in L.E.College.
