I bought luminous 1.5kva inverter 4 years ago. This has a major disadvantage of no auto restart. It is quite common to have some machines like mixer grinders on ups. When overloaded, it gets reset. even after removal of load, the inverter doesn’t get power up automatically. One needs reset it manually. If the inverter is kept somewhere high on shelf, it is an irritating process.
It doesn’t appear like generating pure sign wave since the fans makes humming noise. After an year the product started giving constant problems. It has been replaced with eight refurbished boards now, each time costs 1500 Rs. The service is so pathetic that even after several requests, he could not get the new board.
The inverter doesn’t have self protection from surges. It gets spoiled on every lighting and also it spoils all electronic equipment at home. So far I have lost around Rs 60, 000 worth of electronics from monitors TVs and chargers.
Overall, this is the worst product and service. Please don’t buy this crap.
