I bought a 1400 VA Luminous Home UPS last year but right after 6 monhts the product started giving me troubles. All of a sudden the backup came down drastically I got the batteries checked but I was told there was some problem with the Inverter.
I called up at the service center and to my amusement no body picked my phone and this happened many times. Then I took the number of their head office and called there, but they told me that I will have to speak at the service centre only.
Then I called at the service centre again, this time someone did answer my call and a engineer was sent the next day. As soon as he checked the system he told us that there was something wrong with the charger and he will come back in 2-3 days with the spare part but he didn’t turn up before
We registered 6 more requests at the service centre, this time a different guy came and rechecked the system and said that something else was wrong, he went back and came the next day to fix the thing.
Despite all the troubles the system is not working properly. Because of all the trouble I have gone through I have decided that I will never buy a Luminus product again ever in my life
