LUMINOUS SOLAR BATTERY 150AH - Worst Service

Hello Friends,


I have bought an 150AH Luminous Solar Battery LPT12150H from Battery House, Gaya on 04/08/2016 with 60 months warranty which I was using with a Su-Kam Solar UPS and Luminous Solar plates. Since 6 months my battery was not giving sufficient backup in power cuts and the backup which previously was 9 hours drastically reduced to just 3 hours.


I made a call and complaint to Luminous Care on 18001033039 around 19/07/2018 with complaint number 4006136106 and I was told that someone will come check and guide me. A person came after many calls after 5-6 days and told me to bring the battery to the Luminous Care service center.


On, 18/08/2018 I brought the battery to the service center which is 45KM from my home and they provided me a slip with Slip Number 4354 and asked to enquire after a week. When I called them after a week, they asked to call after 2 more days. I contacted Mr Raja the Area Service Manager on his Mobile 9334621230 on 27/08/2018 and he told me that "YOUR BATTERY IS DEAD AND A REPLACEMENT WILL BE COMING FROM PATNA BY TOMORROW 8AM, COLLECT YOUR REPLACEMENT BATTERY AFTER 10AM TOMORROW". I went to the service center to collect on 28/08/2018 and they provided me with same OLD BATTERY, when asked they said it was repaired. I didn’t argue and took my battery to my home again a 45KM round.


Now, when last night we had a power cut, the battery lasted just 1 HOUR 20 MINUTES. They ruined the battery which I gave to them. When I gave the battery to the service center, the battery was giving at least 3 hours backup and now after repairing, it gives only 1 hour 20 minutes of backup.


I called LuminousCare on 18001033039 again today 06/09/2018 and they were again trying to start the same complaint taking drama all over, no words on their service center harassing me. I asked to talk to a senior and Ayush in capacity of Senior Supervisor talked to me and provided me with a phone number of Senior Service Manager, which was wrong. I again called LuminousCare and got the number of Mr Azam, 7292017067, but I am calling since afternoon and he never picked up. After this I again called Mr Raja on 9334621230 and he said the battery was ok when they gave me and denied anything he told me about the replacement coming from Patna on 27/08/2018. He is asking  to bring battery again which I think would be more harassment for me as a customer.


The company is not even listening and nobody really cares what happens with the customers. They are taking customers for granted and trying to get rid of by harassing me again and again so that they don’t have to obey by the warranty.


It seems I am stuck with a crap company with worst service and have lost money on transporting battery to and from service center 45KMs away from my home, and they ruined it more.


I have complained on INGRAM as I want this to be resolved and service at my home like other companies do. Also, I need compensation for the transportation and mental torture they are doing to avoid their responsibility.
