Stree was good:Lately, the only movie I have watched in the genre Horror in Bollywood is Stree to my surprise it has been more than entertaining.
Starcast Lupt: Javed Jaffery, Vijay Raaz, Meenaxi Dixit, Rishina Kandhari, Rishabh Chaddha, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Karan Anand.
Lupt StoryLine: Lupt Means Vanish and as far I have observed in the trailer Javed Jaffery has seen many of the paranormal activities.
Even though the movie might be promoted on Javed’s name, it is actually Vijay Raaz who steals the show in this one due to surprise in his character always being intact.
Lupt Javed Jaffery Role:Javed plays the role of a businessman with chronic insomnia who cannot see anything ahead of work, not even his own family, who has been convincing him to take a vacation with them for many years. Mr. Tandon as he is called often spots some people who do not exist - who get Lupt every time he is with someone. He then consults his doctor friend who suggests he take a break. Mr. Tandon is then convinced that he needs to spend time with his family, but the affair turns out to be a nightmare for him!
And then while going on a family trip because the Doctor has said so.
The movie has jumpscares - there are two scenes which will make your stomach churn with its level of horror, and the executions of those scenes too are fairly good.
The story is not very new, but it is something that can intrigue people in the climax. Vijay Raaz’s character also is a new element and brings in freshness to the script from time to time.
It is replete with timely jump-scare moments, coupled with loud, ominous music.
Jaafery is seen as a helpless man, trying to seek the meaning behind repeated flashes of vision, that doctors pass off as but a result of chronic insomnia.
In the latter part of the movie, the entire family faces a lot of Paranormal activities and so the entire story twists a lot towards the end.
