LYF Water 5 full and honest review of my 2 week usage: -
Accessories comes with the phone: -
Charger, Earphones, Tempered Glass, Full body Cover, Sim ejector tool.
Charger - This phone support quick charging 1.0. Charger comes with 5 volt= 2 amp or 2000mAh.
Earphones - Basic Earphone but better then other company’s regular cheap earphones quality.
Tempered Glass - The quality of tempered glass is good.
Full body cover - This is unique is that the quality of the cover is good, you dont want to buy another cover for your phone’s protection.
Sim ejector tool - This is one of the most important accessories for your phone, you have to care of it.
Design: -
This phone looks premium compere then 8000 price bracket. This thikness of this phone is 7.7 mm. This is very light weight and very easy to hold on hand.
Display: -
Its comes with 5 inches or 12.7 cm with 1280x720p. The contrast of colour is well ballance and the viewing angle is good compare to other phone on this price segment.
Sensor: -
Light sensor work well, gravity sensor not good, proximity sensor work well.
Sound: -
Earphone sound is good but the output of loud speaker is not good.
Hardware: -
This phone comes with Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor with 2 gb of RAM( 1.8 GB usable) .
Battery: -
This phone’s comes with 2920 mAh battery and the battery life performance is good beacuse its display is hd not full that’s reason battery backup 6 to 7 hours screen on time and least easily 20 hours of full charge 20% battery.
Performance: - the performance of this phone short of ok. Not great. The 410 processor not powerfull compare then 652 or 650. But other side price to perfoance ratio is good.
OS experience: - The OS experice is good. Its comes with android 5.1.1 lolipop but compered then other phone not customiz like samsung, lg, and xaomi phones. Custom like Moto devices very light os. That’s one of the major reason for this phone not hang after play asphalt 8, fifa 2015.
Gaming Performance: -
The gaming performance not great but this phone able to handle heavy games but you have to patience for launching time but after launching you enjoy games.
Value for money: - This phone comes with reliance GIO offer. The offer is unlimited 4g upto 50 Mbps download and upload, unlimited calls and unlimited SMS for 3 months. That’s why I bought this phone. But every LYF phone not valur for money. This phone gives you value even you love this device after using beacuse of it’s simplicity and design.
