DISPLAY AND DESIGN
The Lyf Water 7 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 400 PPI. The IPS LCD display will provide good viewing angles and clarity under direct sunlight. The resolution and PPI numbers will enable the display to show content in HQ. The display is protected by Asahi Dragontail Glass. The phone sports three capacitive touch buttons below the screen with volume and power buttons on the right, and a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top edge. The phone’s dimensions are 155.30 x 77.20 x 8.50 mm, and is 160 grams heavy. The smartphone comes in an aluminium alloy unibody exterior available in two colors: silver and gold.
PLATFORM AND MEMORY
The Water 7 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS on a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 615 SoC with an 1.5GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor and 2GB of RAM ensuring fast and efficient performance. The chipset also has a standard Adreno 405 GPU that takes care of graphics and games. The phone comes with 16GB of storage space with expandable storage upto 128GB.
CAMERAS AND BATTERY
The primary camera is 13-megapixels with LED flash, autofocus, digital zoom and HD recording enough to take quality images and videos. The secondary camera is 5-megapixels sufficient for selfies but might require ample light to take better pictures. The phone is powered by a strong 3, 000mAh non-removable battery that is said to last 14 hours on a 4G network.
