This review is about the Midi Controller Keyboard from M-Audio. The product name is Keystation Mini 32.
This is a 32 Keys keyboard that relies on your Smartphone / Tablet/ laptop or PC hosted application to play various Western and Indian Musical instruments. In addition, it has many more features that are best used by professional musicians.
My need for sourcing a low cost alternative that can be carried like your mobile and not tied down to large musical instruments was a big driving factor. Just for comparison - consider a normal Harmonium. This device in comparison to the normal Harmonium is 1/25 of the size!
In addition to the Midi-Keyboard, you will require a Female USB-A to Male Type-C convertor. Attach this cable to the cable provided along with the Keyboard and to your Type-C port of your Mobile. I use this option extensively due to ease of operation, flexibility and mobility to carry and play the instrument. In case you want to learn Harmonium - the Jalra App would be the best choice. I use the same. You can down load the IOS or Android version from the respective portals(Apple /Google Playstore). There are other options to learn such as Piano. You can check them in the respective App-stores mentioned above.
For learning music notes, I refer to the "Ganamrutha Bodhini" book by A.S.P. Iyer. You can purchase it thru Amazon.
There are many youtube videos available - just key in the words "Midi-controller" or "M-Audio Keystation" to know more about other music related applications of this portable keyboard.
