Ajju bhai is the best captain for India. Now, before you jump to any conclusion, let me explain why I think so. Statistics show that he is the most successful captain. He is a good batsman and an excellent fielder. Of course, he had had his drawbacks...he comes from a minority community and he doesn’t know much about ’’team work’’. But his life if an example to everyone. He comes from the old-city of Hyderabad and his family is orthodox lower middle-classed. He made his way into the team through sheer hard work. Locals still remember how a thin young kid used to play ’’galli cricket’’ all day. His debut was a record...three consecutive centuries in three consecutive innings and it is said that England batsmen never ran when Azhar was near the ball. At his peak, he even hold the record for ’’highest number of records’’. He was my inspiration when I started learning cricket, same for many other Hyderabadi youngsters. I think his induction to the Mumbai social circuit spoiled his life and everyone know whom to blame for that. He must be punished if it is ever proved that he is wrong but he earned his records and awards through hard work and one shouldn’t doubt his sincerity.
