I think after banning him for life there is no need for the government to take his award which he got way back in 86. now don’t say that the award he got was also fix. he made his debut in 85 when there were heavy stalwarts like gavaskar, vengsarkar, shastri and kapil who all were great manipulators of their time. they did their best to demorlaise this youngster when he made his debut, but such was his talent that he survived, and went on to become one of the most sucessful captain of this country ( even more sucessful then gavaskar and tandelya.
The award he got was becuz of his scintaliting debut when he scored 3 consecutive hundred’s against England, the record which he still has to his name. One can’t ignore the service he has done to the nationjust becuz he is invloved in fixing one or two matches.
Azza let them take this award but you are still there are many reward and record which simply no one can take away from you.
