Neeraj Pandey films were one of the best entertainers of 2016.
M.S. Dhoni was on of those movies which share a covalent bond with the art house movies and commercial movies.
The movie starts with The 2011 ICC Cricket World moment the time when every Indian was biting their nails in
nervousness. Then Dhoni come on the crease with the burden of the hopes of all the Indians.
Then the movie swings back to the time when the protagonist was born. Then the later half of the movie was more like a calendar of the events that our protagonist M.S. Dhoni experienced in the journey from his childhood to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. In the opposite of protagonist there are two leading ladies who were there in the life of the living legend Mahindra Singh Dhoni. The cast consisted of premium actors like Anupam Kher, Rajesh Sharma and the main actor himself Sushant Singh Rajput. M.S. DHONI’s elder sister’s role was played by Bhoomika Chawla. And the two leading ladies were Disha patnani as Priyanka and Kiara Advani as Saakshi, Dhoni’s present wife. The movie had a lot of goosebump moments. For example the train scene before the interval and also the final scene or the climax scene in which the protagonist literally is being revengeful with the cricket ball.
And the songs are soothing enough to support the plot.
Overall its a good movie to watch with everyone. And moreover the movie is based on someone who is known globally, who is the pride of India, The best wicket keeper and my personal favourite.
