I watched this movie because it depicted the life and times of a great Indian cricket captain. This movie was **extensively promoted** by Dhoni as well as’on-screen Dhoni’ Sushant Singh Rajput. **A major setback of the movie is its length which goes beyond 3 hours.** The first half of the movie **before intermission is uninteresting** with all the **useless things being depicted** which should not have been given much importance. The second half gains pace and we come to know about the personal and professional life of Captain Cool. Sushant’s image of a not a big star has fallen in line with his role in the movie . He has done a descent job. *Anupam Kher as Sushant’s father has overdone his role*. **Bhoomika Chawla** can be seen on-screen after a long time but without any homework. She has ***acted in the same’expressionless’ way as she did years ago***. **Dialogues of the movie are ordinary with the music being unexciting.** The movie tells us about **Dhoni’s life in an unexciting manner of a documentary as it lacks drama**. ***Viewers feel that a five-day monotonous test match is being played before them on the screen.*** I suggest the readers to watch the movie on his/her laptop after a few days than going to the theatre wasting his/her precious money.
