My grandmother and father both were diagnosed with Cataract. They both of they got operated in this hospital only. This is a small hospital, ran by a Dr. Jugal Shah who is the friendliest doctor I’ve ever seen.
Grandmother did got her eyes rectified, but at age of eighties she was again diagnosed with an eye defect. The same doctor operated her elegantly and she was well recovered. Dad was diagnosed with Cataract. The first operation was just perfect. This gentleman performs maybe almost a couple of hundreds of laser treatments per day. But the second operation was not so smooth. The company making the lenses had some flaws and delivered wrong lens which got fit on my father’s eye. The same doctor was the one, who diagnosed it again and fixed it with a new lens for free. Eyesight of my father is tremendously improved after this incident.
There is always a big waiting queue for patients. The nurses tend you eye drops as well. Plus, the infrastructure is perfect given a small place for a hospital. The surgery is done in maximum ten minutes. The lighting is dim enough for all eye patients and bright enough as well for magazine readers.
This hospital is difficult to look for, but if you know where is’Goregaon MTNL’ then you can find it easily with a little bit of asking around.
