Just finished reading this novel. The main theme of MacBeth - the destruction wrought when ambition goes unchecked by moral contraint- finding its most powerfull expression in the play’s two more charecters. MacBeth is courageous scottish genral who is not naturally inclined to commit evil deeds. Yet he deeply desires power and advansment. The charecter macbeth is a tragic hero displays a tragic flaws and suffer a downfall that leads to his death. Overall it is a tragedy and I enjoyed reading it
