I get why MAC is iconic, but sometimes it feels like they’re stuck catering to a slightly older vibe. The shades are strong, but I find the packaging a bit old-school compared to newer, edgier brands. Their prices also don’t exactly scream accessible, and dropping that much on a lipstick every time isn’t realistic for everyday use. Plus, I think they’re a little behind when it comes to shade inclusivity, especially for Indian skin tones. For me, it’s a brand that has great moments but doesn’t always match the fresh, experimental energy I want in my makeup.
