The book says a story of group of girls in a catholic boarding school in Paris. Madeline is the smallest among all the girls in the gang. She is 7 yrs old and her head is red in color. She is the only girl with red head. She is very brave.This is the first book of Madeline series.
In this first book it is all about the girl Madeline. Madeline get sick and taken to the hospital and her appendix removed.In this first part we can read what happens to her . Also she do some extra ordinary things that we can not imagine at her age that she tries to save a dog by falling to a river.
It is story of Madeline activities and how her life runs.This book has also released film, video games and toys. Ludwig Bemelman also wrote 5 sequels of this book.
Later books in this series were written by Bemelman’s grandson John Bemelman Marciano. It is a good picture book for read and understand.This book is suits for all ages to read and understand.
