Usually, when people talk of dvd rental, they talk of the pirated recent flicks that somebody on a motorbike delivers to their homes - and those dvds are always scratchy and useless. Madhouse, on the contrary delivers quality movies at a good price with good service. First the caveat, dont expect to see movies the very next day of release. It doesnt(and shouldnt) happen that way. These are purely legal movies with no piracy involved. That itself makes a lot of sense to me. Once that is over and done with, you get movies that are very good quality prints and they become available the day the dvd is released - which usually happens 4-8 weeks after movie release in theaters.
The delivery is next business day by courier with an express same day service also being planned(thats what I have been told by their customer service). You can call up their helpdesk or send an email. YOu can even maintain a wishlist on their website and order from there.
The collection is large and has all movies that you can think of. You can search through it on their website and add to your wishlist then and there. If you are a frequent watcher, the charges turn out to be pretty cheap. I took an option where I would end up paying around 35 - 40 rupees per movie which is much better than elsewhere.
