After a long time, I am here to write a review on one of the most famous lagendry actress of Hindi film industry "Madhubala".
Madhubala was one of the greatest ever green actress in the Bollywood Industry, She was the most gorgeous actress who have graced the screen of Bollywood. The greatest actress Madhubala was born as Mumtaz Jehan Begum on Valentines Day(14th Feb) 1933, in a poor family of Pathan Muslims in Delhi.Her full name was Mumtaz Jahan Begum Dehlavi.
She entered the world of Bollywood films at the tender age of eight. She struggled a lot during her starting days and almost after about five years of playing child roles in some of movies, Madhubala got her first break in a lead role in Neel Kamal(1947), the film was produced and directed by her mentor filmmaker Kidar Sharma.She played a romantic lead role against another super star, Raj Kapoor at the age of just 14 Years and finally she had arrived on the Bollywood Cinema Screen.and from there, She starred in several successful movies in the 1950s and early 1960s, many of which have attained a classic status in the Bollywood film history.
Early Stage of her life :
Belonging to her family background, Madhubala was the fifth child of her Muslim family. A Muslim holy man had once predicted that this girl would make a name for herself and become a prominent personality. She would earn loads of wealth and fortune, but unfortunately wont be able to enjoy a happy life and die at a very young age.Madhubalas father named Ataullah Khan, on hearing the words of the Muslim holy man, planned to migrate to Mumbai for leading a better life, and from here the journey for Madhubala of Indian film Industry begun.Things were not smooth and the family had to struggle a lot for a year. Madhubala entered into the Indian film industry as a child artist. She is admired for her looks and work even by the present day generations. She is an epitome of beauty, who had an unbeatable charm. At that time, she was known as Baby Mumtaz.
Early work towords Success:
Madhubala gave a fabulous performance in her first film Basant which was released in the year 1942. Further after two years, In the movie named "Jwar Bhata"(1944), she was to play the lead role with Sir, Dilip Kumar. But, things did not materialize and she could not work in the film. But, this gave her an opportunity to know Dilip Kumar.
Major Break for Mumtaz:
The major break in her life that changed the everything was a film "Neel Kamal(1947)" in which she was signed opposite to Raj Kapoor directed by Kidar Sharma. After this film, She was more often referred to as the "Venus of the Screen". Within this film, she established her career and came into limelight for the bollywood industry. She constantly kept climbing the ladders of success and her films were super hit.
Madhubala graced the Indian screen with her magical appearance and to this day remains an icon who symbolises beauty and glamour. She has made an incredible contribution to the Indian film industry. Mughal-e-Azam turned out to be the biggest hit. In her short lifetime, she worked in seventy films.Some of her all time favorite movies are,

Personal Life Relationship:
On the set of "Jwar Bhatta"(1944), Madhubala and Dilip Kumar got an opportunity to get along with each other. In the Superhit film "Mughal-e-Azam", When they got a chance to work together again for a long period of nine years, She started having hots for him. It is even said that, Madhubala had once sent him a note accompanied by a flower. Dilip Kumar reacted in a favorable manner and they got engaged with each other. Madhubala was very serious about marrying him, but he did not pay much of attention on her and chose someone else for marriage. Later, Madhubala got married to Kishore Kumar, a well known name of the Indian film industry.
End of her Life:
Once During routing checkup, It was come to know that Madhubala had a hole in her heart. The doctors refused to operate on her, as there was virtually no hope of survival. The doctors said that even if the operation is successful, she wont live for more than a year. At that point of time, She realized that she shouldnt have married Kishore Kumar. Her illness was kept a secret from the industry for many years. She frequently used to cough up blood on sets, and eventually her illness forced her to end her career. She passed away on the February 23, 1969.
