Good album especially for Illayaraja fans

Nice album for Illayaraja fans. Nice modern music with melody. Illayaraja’s music needs no introduction. He is the best living film music director in the country. Though this album is not as great as his recent hits like ’’Kaadhallukku Mariyadai’’, ’’Friends’’, ’’Kannukkul Nilavu’’, etc, its still quite good compared to the other run-of-the-mill albums being released now-a-days. Song list:

  1. Dum Irundha: Typical college students’ song. Nice intro music and nice beats. Sung well. Foot tapping. Illayaraja retains his signature music and makes the song worth hearing though the lyrics are not that good

  2. Intha Ulagil: Great singing, great music. Good melody.

  3. Ketkavillaya: Illayaraja is the singer too. Very nice and melodious

  4. Nilavai Chuttri: Nice blend of melody with westernised techno music.

  5. Manasu: Horrible. Looks like Illayaraja was forced to include this song as most Tamil movies have such types of front-bench songs now-a-days
