If you a plain jane, then Madness is the most ideal pub n’ disco for you. Simplicity is the name of the game. Mirrored walls and tiny Bose speakers adorn the wall.
Madness is divided into 2 discs. The Dj is quite a commercial, hindi, ‘dhinchak’music aficionado. If you a ‘laila oh laila’ and a ‘mehbooba’ freak, Madness is the ‘IN thing for you. My advice, if you between 25-80 years old, don’t visit, the pub in the afternoon. It is swamped with teenyboppers from nearby colleges, who organise parties called ‘socials’ everyday.
If you between the age 15-18, then caution is to party at Madness in the night, the crowd is more mature, you have less brawls, the music tends to get less commercial, the skirts r higher, money and beer flow, …..BUT BEWAREEEEEEEEEEEEEE………… Get used to the Police Siren because that’s the most common tune heard here….If Madness is raided when you in the disco, then please take note of the following escape route.
Before you enter the 2nd disco, there’s a door to your left, Vamooshhhhh thru that door and run like your pants are on fire. Am sure the pot-bellied corrupt cops cant even lift a leg to run after you. Madness gets raided more than you or I put together can raid a crate full of beers.
Booze and food is fairly cheap. Not many cosy places, but atleast you have a choice of two discs in one disc. Hic!!!!!!
