I happened to see this’Maggevala’ shop name in another part of Chennai & the name was quite intriguing and I had made up my mind that I’d definitely come back to this restaurant when the right time came.
It happened that yesterday I could check out on what this venue had to offer.
Like many of us growing up eating’Maggi’ as a kid, its always fun to taste a fusion version of maggi with a multitude of flavors in store!
We tried 2 flavors: Schezwan & Crispy Maggi!
While we liked the Schezwan, Crispy maggi was a complete let-down! It reminded me of the American Chopsuey. At some point my jaws started paining! So hope you get the picture!
While I would strongly recommend you to try all other flavours, please avoid the Crispy Maggi please!
For the MaggeVala guys, you may want to collect more feedback from folks if they liked it or had a poor experience just like me & re-visit the recipe!
Otherwise, a cozy place for short-eats.
Ideal for friends & family!
Remember its self-service from an order booking. So don’t just sit waiting on your seats. Just get to the counter & sit easy!
Another feeling is when your food is delivered after 30 minutes when Swiggy / Zomato guys walk in and step out with the food!
This maybe applicable to every restaurant outlet these days & trust me while you are getting more business from’em; you are doing a great dis-service to someone waiting at the table for the maggi to be delivered.
While a 10-minute wait for a 2-minute Maggi noodle experience is acceptable; a 30-minute wait is definitely a No-NO!
