Maggi has been my favourite instant breakfast since childhood. Needless to say, I love it. And, who doesn’t? No wonder, we all have some maggi story to tell. It is loved by all kind of people, but holds a special place in any hostiler’s heart. It reminds me of my ranchi days when it was all we could make in the hostel using the electric kettle. We, of course, weren’t supposed to keep any cooking appliances. And it was like a feast for us. That heavenly feeling when you cook and have maggi with your friends in the middle of the night.
We know what happened a few months ago when it was taken off the market due to excessive lead content. I was absolutely disappointed with such reports. But now I’m happy that they have made it safe for all of us and it’s finally back on our plates and in our lives!
