I have booked for relocation today and opted for premium packing and it’s a worse/frustrating experience.
Labours from Packers and movers have transported all items (including mattress, cots, sofa etc., ) without any basic wrapping while it’s supposed to be bubble wrap. The driver/head Kuldeep (Haven’t seen such an idiot like this) is very annoying and demands money for every single item though it’s already mentioned in the list of items to be moved. Not just about money, his attitude is totally different. Doesn’t want to work, very bad attitude. He is utter useless, greedy and No.1 fraud.
The main vendor is Nandi Packers and Movers which is owned by Narender and he is another masterpiece. Thinking of ways to loot money than achieving the assigned task. Magic bricks has it’s share too. Till I made payment, they followed up and once that’s done, no message/call from them to at least share my concern. MB assigned a useless movement manager, Narasimha Murty and Sonu, Sales person. But they haven’t picked any call from me. Whom should I reach out to when Kuldeep is not ready to load the luggage without money?? Such frustrating experience.
Please don’t choose Magic bricks. Worse day of my life. Every second has been annoying. Would you even believe that our packers started packing the luggage at 12.30 PM (supposed to come by 11.30 AM) and completed the packing at 5.30 PM?
They took 2 hours lunch break and their speed of packing is pathetic. Snail is much faster than them. There’s more to my frustration.
They started at the destination at 5.30 PM and reached the destination at 8.30 PM (3 hrs for 5kms). God knows there all they roamed. By the time they reached, security didn’t allow the vehicle because 6 PM is the final time for any move in. What should we do other than requesting/begging our association and after several requests, they allowed the vehicle to shift basic items only and the time was already 10 PM (Thanks to them.. they kept their office calls aside from 8.30 PM and addressed our issue post discussion with other association members). We were waiting outside for 2+ hours because of all these useless vendors of Magic bricks.
Most depressing part is, obviously, after loading basic items (again till 11.30 PM), they left and said to pay additional 5K on top of 8.7K (6500 charges + 1500 insurance + 700 labour by Kuldeep) in order to load the luggage next day! What could we do?
Next day morning, they came BUT didn’t load the luggage till they receive call from MB but Magic Bricks (MB) didn’t pick a single call from me. After several trials (more than 100+ calls), we were lucky enough to connect to MB agent and he negotiated for 1.5K, not 5K. Our total expenses came to 10K for just 5 Kms proximity.
Why talk about our situation? Where should we sleep at the night?
With a kid and elder at home, imagine our state of mind! These people did all drama JUST to loot money. No concern on customer at all, JUST money!
Don’t fall for their follow up (before booking) and words. It’s not trustworthy. You will end up loosing your peace of mind. I have written such big comment to enlighten others because the stress that we faced can’t really be expressed.
I don’t write reviews at all but I invested so much time to do this because I don’t want others to be in my situation and only we know how helpless we were.
