When it popped up in my locality it was a delight for me, being used to shopping in large grocery stores in England the conventional "banya" shop was kinda confusing & difficult for me to digest. Walking around in the stores with a large variey of products to choose from is so ideal.... compareing brands, quality n prices.... seeing things n buying whats required... even picking things up that u forgot u even needed.
The Bandra Magnet on Linking Road was innitially a gr8 place to shop but I must admit now that the quality of running the stores gone really low.Firsly its situated on the 4th, 5th flr. most of the days the elevators n lifts arnt working, the lift is so small it can hardly acommodate the shopping trolley, the lift guy n urself. U cant hardly do the whole weeks shoppping & try to leave there in one piece, it so exhausting. In the evenings its a nightmare, qeues for till r so long & once uve paid for ur wares ..
How u gonna leave the store...eigther u wait patiently ....or take to the stairs, but wait...while going down the stairs too is a challenge, caz uve gotta pass the dozens of staff there eighther having their lunch n dinner or jst sitting resting their tired feet. Oh, n I forgot to mention the mess on the stairs too.....extra stock waiting to be kept in the store or empty cartons n containers......wew!!! wat an adventure!!! Anyone of Magnet manag ment reading this.....A message of advice, PLEASE improve urself --before u face closure!!
