Salem is not flooded with engineering colleges like Namakkal district. In Salem there are only two reputed private colleges, Sona and Maha. Maha College is pretty good. Infrastructure and other facilities are impressive, placements are done now and then, they have the biggest indoor auditorium in the zone(heard from friend of mine). They have collaborated with foerign Universities. Overall I can say its a better college.
