I planned my 2nd Anniversary trip with my wife to Mahabaleshwar after doing alot of research on the net.Found out few agencys whod do a complete package with the hotel of your choice finally managed a deal with Sai Siddhi holiday Pvt Ltd they quoted me rates n the package etc for Saket Plaza as it was a new hotel had all the amenities specialy the inroom jacussi at only 12000 for 2n 3d with food travelling from Mumbai to mahabaleshwar and back .struck a deal made the payment direct debit 20days in advance so tht I dnt miss the oppurtunity bcos it was peak season during the 1st week of June08.Our travel started we reached comfortably at the hotel to find out that thr was no booking made in our name though we had he reciepts and booking vouchers etc.
We were made to wait from mornign 6.30am to 9am in the waitng area afetr a tired journey while they tried to figure out wose mistake it was.Well to make things clear to youll Saket Plaza is the hotel of TPH travels.After 2hrs of calls & we continously contactingour tour person.we were asked to search another hotel & very few resorts have jacussi in mahabaleshwar out of the 100 hotels.
Reluctantly having no coice set for the unt again.And didnt like any hotel .finally thy told to adjust 1 nite at fountain hotel & next day we wud again have to shift to saket in an ordinary room.
Our anniversary was messed up and all our excitemnet too..............
So guys please dont book from atleast Sai siddhi tours or TPH as I have had an experience which I would never wish evn my enemies have to face.
Book from the direct hotel and do reconfirm at the hotel.dont trust the management of the hotel.ev if you have all the room vouchers and meals too
