This review is based on the experience which I had with MTNL prepaid (Trump)
its almost a year now being in bombay, initially when I came here , I didn’t knew which service is better in the city, I had a BSNL prepaid at my earlier place, and was much satisfied with its service, so I decided to go 4 MTNL. The SIM was not easily available as like with other operators, that only gave me an impression that the service is in demand in the city, poor me!!
no doubt its the cheapest of all but it covers it up in terms of network .
at many parts of the city u wont find proper coverage, and there is frequent call drop , its network it always busy whenever u wanna make some important call, and once it happened that 15 Rs perr minute were getting deducted from my balance for every STD call I make , (let me tell u , the ISD tariff is only 12 Rs per minute)
i called the customer care , after waiting for long time they told me that ur comlent has been registered and we will get back to u , I couple fo days went, again I made a STD call , and faced the same problem, after a having a series of talks with the customer care (i sware man getting to the agents is one of the toughest thing, I know) we came to a conclusion that , I had to go to the MTNL office , either the BKC or the one at prabhadevi (i still dont understand what was the need for that)
i had no option , so I went to BKC office , and went to the customer care unit, they diverted me to network department , finally I figured out a SDE (sub divisional engg)
and told him my concern , he made a couple of calls here and there , and assured me that it will be fixed in a day or 2.
and to my surprise it was fine, but I lost all my balance at that time, and then I decide to say good bye to MTNL .
