The staff welcomed us with joined hands and we felt as if we were in Rajasthan, amongst the locals. To start with every waiter was very well behaved, first we were made to wash our hands with a luke warm water in a mobile wash basin. There was this huge thali with 8 small bowls and one big bowl. They first started with dhokla and coconut green peas kachori, both were yummy, specially the coconut green peas kachori.
We were served some awesome kesar sharbat and some lovely chaas. Then it started raining sabzis, a capsicum sabzi, kofta, potato sabzi, chavli, dal tadka and a special kadi and a custard and moong dal halwa. All the sabzis were good but if you want me to pick best amongst all, it would be kofta, they were super delicious. Not to forget the small thepla and the makke ki roti which was outstanding, it was served with some desi ghee and some jaggery, a perfect combination.
The staff is over the top courteous, sweet and willing to please you, a rarity in Indian restaurant staff. The place is well illuminated, giant size artwork of spices adorn the wall and brass vessels on tables. You start your meal with a hand wash promptly brought to your table and then it all begins one after the other, Everyone bringing stuff to put on your thali.
You just wouldnt know where to begin. Before you know it you are staring at a huge variety of food on your plate replete with starters, mains & desserts. There is no need to ask for repeats as theyll pro-actively and promptly fill your plate until you stop them.
