Recently, I admitted my mother, age-55 in MKCG medical college and hospital for high blood sugar, diabetics ketoacidoacis( DKA) which is medical emergency . Timely and proper treatment not given, for which I lost my mother. I admitted because this hospital nerest to my place. Had we taken her to private hospital like Apollo, seven hills, care hospital, she would have been given proper treatment and special attention and would have been with us now. I have gone through various studies and articles of DKA after my mother’ death and found this is most critical desease but curable and the death rate is only 3-5%., Although, we admit her timely, no proper treatment and special attention given. Govt hospital doctors are working only for salaries and no body take challanges to save patient. She should have treated ICU in initial stage, after 12 hours they referred ICU and condition got very poor by that time.I have done big blunder in my life .god will never ever pardon me.
