I bought my Maharaja Whiteline food processor (FP) from Sony Mony at Irla, Mumbai for Rs. 4700/- ( The MRP incidentally is approx Rs. 5000/-)
My dissonance with Maharaja started right from the moment I found that the same set is available at three different retail outlets at Rs. 3000, Rs. 3200 and Rs. 3300 respectively.
Here I am having bought a FP from a reputed dealer like Sony Mony and I realize that I have been ripped off wrt price.
The worst part is that on my second use of the FP , the plastic parts of the FP got burnt and the blade got stuck in the jar. After having complained about the same to Maharaja, one of the guys came in and said that there is no warranty on plastic parts and that I will have to bear the replacement costs.
Can someone let me know where I can file a case against Maharaja for these jarring discrepancies ?
