I have this Mixer-cum-FP for little more than 4 years. It has been really a big headache for me. In 4 years I have changed it’s motor atleast 3 times. The change of motor means changing almost everything in the mixie except the outer plastic mould. It also means spending almost half the cost of product in repair and spares each time. As per many of the mixer mechanics whome I had taken the mixie to, the combination of Mixer and Food processor is a really bad product design.
Product designer has not enhanced the power of motor inside and kept two rotors in it, one for mixie and another for FP. This makes motor burn itself more than it’s capacity and eventually succumb to the double load. My advice for those looking for mixer+food processor combination would be, please buy them seperately than buying a headache in the form of convinience.
