I was a student of this college and have passed out last year only. My four years of engineering can be summed up more of a fight as most of the students have found. There is absoulutely no value addition in terms of intellectual capital or personality development in the college. The chairman is the sole authoirity and the principal is a dummy who just sits there. There are no sports no cultural events and even so the students are very rarely sponsored for intercollege events.
The focus is on academics but the teachers are students who have just passed out fresh and lacking in basics. There is hardly anyprofessor in college. The hostel is good but the electricity is deliberately cut off so that students do not stay in the hostel during college hours. The student input is exceptional but the college efforts are nil. There has been virtually no college placements for years now apart from 20 25 odd ones who move out. But one thing is for sure the alumni is certainly placed well...but by their own efforts. In my opinion DO NOT GO THERE. You will lose whatever u have already.....A BIG NO...
