I have read Bana’s Kadambari. Mahashwete there is a lover par excellence. The name implies to her quality as an ardent devotee smitten by the love towards Pundarika. The intention of the author is well meant of course; but comparing A Vitiligo condition that is in no way a disease to the character of Bana is, in my opinion, not proprietary. Our sensibilities and sensitivities are to be well balanced without one undermining or exaggerating the other. <
