16th Feb 2009 - I wanted to have a review of the mahindra & mahindra after sales and service & that is the reason I checked MS for some reviews. However I did not find any for either Bora auto or Silver Jubilee motors, the only 2 dealers for Mahindra & Mahindra in Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad. Its just 15 mins that I am back from my first visit to Bora auto & thought of penning my review.
The salesperson was good & knew a few things about the product (logan in my case). But wasn’t very convincing. They did not have Logan to test drive worse even they did not have a logan to even show case. Thats the main reason I had visited the SHOWroom.
The salesman has promised that he will make arrangements to bring it to my place so that I can test drive it. But it was with a disclaimer, "If I don’t call you within 2 days, you already have my number". :) 2nd thing which hit me was they did not have a readily available price list. The salesman had to plead the office boy to get one.
That proved in vain, so he gave me a crampled one from his pocket. I hope I don’t receive a vehicle in the same condition. I really want to buy this car for its specifications, but I am having second thoughts regarding the before and after sales service (ASS).
There are only 2 service stations of Bora auto in pune (1 in chinchwad & the other in Swargate on shankar sheth road). Both of these are far from pashan where I stay. He did mention that there is pick up and drop facility BUT if its like the first impression I got of the work environment at Bora auto, then again I am skeptical about buying this car.
I think I will settle for Indigo CS for its mere presence in the market & the courtesy that I received from both Pratham Motors @ Mum-Bglore highway & b.u. bhandari @ Abhimanshree.
I will update my review once I receive my test drive (IF AT ALL BORA AUTO THINKS IT PROPER TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR ME).

20th Feb 2009 - So... I did not receive any call from BORA AUTO. No test drive, no feedback, no follow up call.. NOTHING. Typical local attitude. But yes I did have a better experience with Silver Jubilee Motors. I will write that review under Silver Jubilee reviews.
