Bolero SLX 2W test drive

I have test driven a bolero slx 2w today. This is the first time I am driving a an suv (even a diesel) vehicle. I liked the overall feeling of driving an suv.

As a driver I felt, lots of vibration with the new vehicle even in plain road. The gear lever, mirrors and accelerator are vibrating at all speeds and and all road conditions. When I switched to back seat, I found that the vibration is unbearble. It is not just bumpy driving but constant vibration of the vehicle at all speeds. This is the same kind of vibrations my maruti 800 cars have on uneven roads, especially in the back seat. I got head ache on the back seat  and finally have to get out of the same.

The dealer (bangalore) told that it may be because of the fact that  its a new vehicle+ higher tyre pressure and may be some fault with the vehicle itself and will go away after first service.

Can any body tell me how true this is?I along with my family is planning to use this vehicle on weekends in city. we will be using the same on highway and hilly/ghatt roads once in 5 months.

I never worried abt the look, speed of a vehicle and am ok with rugged looking safe car/suv onroad less than 7 lakhs.

Can anybody experience the same kind of vibrations with your bolero? looking for a safer vehicle with some comfort(back seat). IS logan GLS 1.6 a better choice?

Thanks in advance soori
