Happy Bolero Customer

I have had 3 Boleros in 7 years, and each has given me a reason to buy the next one. The third latest one is an SLE (without power windows). I just love the simplicity of the DI engine because when I travel out into the boondocks, some roadside mechanic can repair it with a hammer and some muscle.


I have found the ownership experience to be especially rewarding because os similar incidents each time. For this particular Bolero, bought a year ago, I was not very happy with the 3rd free service. I called the company (M&M in Mumbai) and voiced my concerns. Within a two days, the local dealer called me and fixed up a time to collect my vehicle and repair it in the same week.


Fearing a large bill because I had just gone out of warranty, I still went ahead and gave the vehicle to them for repairs.


The next day evening it was returned, spotlessly clean, and a whole bunch of little problems solved. Things that I had not even complained about.


I had complained about a slight tune-up requirement.


These guys went ahead and tuned my vehicle, cleaned it spotlessly, and then changed the entire clutch assembly. Some issue with it that had made the pedal effort hard.


At the end of inspection, I fearfully asked the gentleman how much it would cost me...


He cheerfully replied, "No problem there, sir. This whole thing is compliments of Mahindra and Mahindra"


I was really touched, that there are companies out there who do care about their customer experience.


This one was special because they achived thier goal. Customer Delight.
