Mahindra Duro Purchased on Sep 3rd 2010. Same day delivery and paper work. Thats awesome when compared to Activa which is 4 months. Awesome looks... Suitable for both Men and Women. Price - 39, 999. (Exshowroom price). Until july it was 38, 999. Missed by one month.... On road... 47500. (including accessories - for me in my city). Very Good price though when compared to others along with features 125cc scooter. Great power. Pickup is awesome.. And powerful battery. Mileage - Decent. Im getting around 35kmpl (city traffic) now.. Dealer says they will tune it to perfection in the second servicing... then will get more than 40kmpl.. Need to check Space - Awesome.. larger than any other scooterette. Under the seat or at our legs. Now my shopping is easy. Speed breakers issue - Does not exist. I think they corrected it. I have not faced any problem.. Nothing hit the ground so far Indian Product. Honda left Kinetic and started producing own scooters. They again left (Not exactly) Hero and started their own bikes... So I kind of don’t like Honda.. though they have Activa under their belt. I feel they used indian companies.... though they are legally and contractually correct... Mahindra took over Kinetic and started again.. Dealer - This is the only thing I am not happy about. Only one dealer in my city. No competition for him. So very hard to get discounts or correct price. I paid 2750 for Accessories (without helmet). I feel it is not at all worth for a floor mat, guard, buzzer, rain cover and handle and kick rod covers. Charged me Delivery Charges extra (which was not there per the mahindra 2 wheelers site) and then gave me discount for the same amount as I paid in cash. The only plus point is that the dealer staff was well mannered... and may be because they were cheating me enough... cant tell.
Overall. I am happy. Only thing that I still need to check is the mileage in the long run and service...

Nov 17, 2010 - Just an update... Now it’s been 2 months. First servicing done. Scooter is still going great. Mileage increased only by 2. im getting around 37 - 40 kmpl. Still happy, looking at the power and brand name. I heard price increased now by a 1000 bucks. not sure.
