Recently I bought a Palio from the Car Broker and spent around Rs15k as service and changing of parts with Mahindra First Choice, Chennai. After two months my Palio refused to start and after umpteen number of calling, the First Choice people never turned back but promised sky high services.
Promptly I called up Fiat Palio Authorized Service Centre and lo and behold my Car was serviced and now up and running for the past six months. Now my neighbor who got a Ford ikon from First Choice, Chennai was stranded on road on a Sunday and was trying to call the 24/7 Road Service of First Choice and also trying to call the Service Centre. No one was picking up the phone and meantime I was also trying frantically to do the same from my end.
Even the Sales person and mechs were not picking up their mobile.
After an Arduous 90 minutes, I found out the Ford 24/7 road service and the person who attended it was quick into action. He promptly sent a pick up van and the stranded Ford was towed to a Ford Authorized Service Centre.( only because the car in question was Ford). Everything was fixed next day by the Ford Service Centre.
At the least I came out of the infidel service of Firts Choice, Chennai on the First instance. But my poor neighbour had given his car for service several times and didn’t get even an iota of Customer treatment.
Friends , Beware of these people who are nothing more than paan dabba walas. Hope the paan dabba walas are better, they know what is Customer Service.
