Still scope to be better

Mahindra launching the urban SUV has a great profile yet comical and also may seem a little bit overdone styling. The design is made to look very stylish. The KUV 100 makes more of a hatchback than an SUV and will take head-on from Maruti Celerio to Hyundai i10 grand to even Tata Tiago. With an SUV look and 170 mm of ground clearance, it gets a heads-up in hatchback territory. The car has good space management but compromises on boot with just 243-liter boot space. The car has new day features like 6-way adjustable driver seat but you will notice that the driver seat is a little off center and also consist of only tilted steering and not telescopic.

The cabin is well managed but the noise from the engine is quite audible.

The handbrake design and the Gearbox come with a learning curve and will take time, patience to get normal.

The Plastic used in the dashboard and Front is average in quality and has no soft-touch plastics.

Also, the dashboard seems to be a little bulging out making the windshield look smaller and may cause a little disturbance to the short drivers.

At the back too the space management is well and passengers have just enough space but the black spot on the window accumulated by the rear door handle makes window small and takes away the sense of airiness at the back.

Coming to the Performance of the car you may not find it that appreciable as expected and mileage could be mixed in terms of results.

The service from Mahindra on this car has come to be complaining.

Even if the car has something extra from the competitors, others offer many more things that are worth a look and also the service and Reliability is definitely better.

Therefore I think there is more scope for KUV100 to get better.

Thanks!
