Firstly the pictures shown on the blogs and reviews didnt go well. I made up my mind this bike is ugly, damn funny and very idiotically made like you will possibly do too which everyone on the internet is good at, presumptions.
Then a moment came when I had to buy a bike above 200cc which is reliable and long lasting and comfortable. I hate sports and sports tourer bikes as they do not belong to my genre. My kind of bike is a naked, comfortable upright seating posture and all day commuter. I wanted to move a bit of a notch this time, being a Bajaj 200NS owner for past three years had very bad experience so every Bajaj was out of my list and so was the KTM twin brothers. All I had left in my list was Honda CBR250R, newly launched Yamaha R3 and the ever green Royal Enfield.
Mojo was not even on my list due to bad look and presumptions but one day I went lucky got to my nearest dealer and asked for the test ride. Mark my words the sheer and crude looks dropped my jaws off and the sounds of the exhaust blasted my ears off. The bike is built huge even your pulsars look puny to this mighty:p. When took for a test ride the raw performance was breath taking. The engine is super smooth as you would expect from a Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki. Theres absolutely no vibrations at any RPMs. The middle range has lot of torque and the pull you want at higher gears. The radiator is massive as compared to any other bike and to my earlier 200NS. The perrili tyres comes as stock and performs excellent even in wet. The most important feature is the seating posture upright and super luxury comfortable. The seats are plushed and well cushioned, overall you can ride 300km to 500km very easily in a single sitting(Hardcore tourer). The bike is heavy as a Royal Enfield(182Kg wet) and is very stable at high speeds as reaching 100-110KM/Hr is nothing for this bike with lot of power to spare. Controlling sometimes needs getting use to but its a matter of time. The only thing Mojo lacks is the fuel efficiency which can be as low as 20KM/L(without db killer) but can be overlooked due to awesome power and such a refined engine. The overall quality of the bike is top notch theres hardly any fibre body panels used, the quality of plastics and switched is top of the line.
All I can say is before making up your mind reading non sense reviews of idiotic people on the internet get to your nearest Mahindra Dealer as ask for the test ride and then let your instinct decide for yourself.
