Logan DLE is my third car of 2007 and after driving the Logan for just 450km, I sold my 2nd car Indica Xeta GVS and retained my first car the Scorpio. Now, I am a proud owner of two Mahindra products viz., Scorpio & Logan. Both the cars from Mahindra stable are the finest of the lot and I am sure Mahindra will be introducing many more such quality cars in India and overseas.
Back to Logan, it is a great car. I have already got a mileage of 16km in city driving with the a/c all the time and I am very confident of getting more than 20km on highways. I only hope my car returns good mileage even after the free services. One of these days I will take a 700km drive from Bangalore to Chennai & back. Having driven many an Indian car for the last 15+years, I can say with authority that Logan though an underpowered car does not knock in the first two gears and cruising in the Logan is a delight. The aircon is simply superb. It cools faster than in any high end cars. There is no end to list out the positives of the Logan but there are couple of negatives viz., windows squeaking noise, hand brake squeaking noise, cumbersome window unwinding livers, high boot hinders reversing & such small irritants but still the LOGAN is the clear winner. It is the only VFM on Indians roads today & kudos to the Mahindra & Renault team for getting the price and the product right. Mahindra is truly an admirable auto giant which has strived to bring in good performance Jeeps followed by a true SUV and now the Logan Sedan to the Indian roads at affordable prices. Mahindra has proven to the world that Indian auto makers can produce world class products. Keep it up Team Mahindra.
