2200 Kms First Service. Jeetendra Motors Did nothing in the first free service only took the coupon and nothing else.
Did not fill the service book.
Did not tune the horn.
did not check the air pressure.
else there was nothing wrong with the vehical hope mahindra should give some competition to Jeetendra as Tata has done in Nasik it has started 3 service stations on One sale point and Tata vehicals are much well maintained in Nasik due to the competition.

Took the delivery of vehical.
General look out.
PDI was not done on the vehical it was delivered to us after washing only that too the upper body.
even after washing I could show them bird droppings at some place. after running 1600 Kms I came to know that the air pressure in tyres was 41 psi when it should be 29 psi so much for PDI
After 1700 kms 19 Sept. 07
Went to Shridi, Trimbak, from Nasik.
daily city chores
then Pune, Mahabaleshwar & back to Nasik

Ride quality the best,
Overtaking Cool,
Head Lights Best,
Fuel efficiency tankfull to tankfull on 99.99% ac 17 KMPL driving at an average speed of 80 (40 - 140) & ghats.
Brakes Finest (saved myself and my family from a crash with a donkey at 140) the car stopped without any fuss.
Superb shock absorbers Drove at 100 kmph on roads I could not drive my 800 above 40kmph (tried it the next day)
Things I miss the most.
Fog Light.
Second reverse Light.
Correctly moving wipers.
Now the review.
For the first 1500 km we are not supposed to go above 2500 RPM as it is a desiel car at 2500 rpm 110 kmph can easily be achieved.
We are a family of 6 Me, My wife, My kid, My mom, My dad, and my younger bro. accept for my wife and kid all are 90+KGs so u can understand a well built family.
Shridi & Trimbak where a no brainer as the road wont let you cross 80 KMPh.
But Pune then Mahabaleshwar we had not yet crossed 1500 Km so I did not cross the 2500 RPM threshhold.
The ghats where a breeze, never I found the Logan to be under powered, even overtaking on ghats was not a problem. (you must remember the AC was on all the time.)
The return journey. was a non stop Mahabaleshwar to Nasik Run for the car. We where overtaking all the vehicals on the road without any problem Toyota’s, Hyundai’s (big cars), only "a Honda Accord" and "Skoda’s" where overtaking us.
So the verdict :
The car is not giving any problems after 1700 kms. No rattles no clatters. If you are not a freak who wants to make speed records, and want a comfortable family vehical this is the car for you.

I am sorry for giving the Overview after 9 months of launch. But may be there are some things which others may have missed.
THE CAR HAS been conceived to very ambitious cost target at Rs 4.28 lakh for the base model, it seems the company has succeeded in meeting the target. Can Logan live up the expectation? How good is it? Let’s see.
Looks
Its looks are plain. To keep the cost down, the looks were compromised. The body panels have limited curves and the glass curves have been kept minimum.
Interiors
The Plain- Jane looks hide what is one of the roomiest mid-sizers this side of a Toyota Corolla. There is a plenty of leg, head and shoulder room and the Logan’s bright and airy interiors give you a huge feeling of space The seats are very comfortable. You sit on well high-bolstered cushions with super under thigh support.
Engine
The Logan comes with a choice between a Petrol and Diesel engine. The smaller petrol is a 1.4-Litre 75bhp engine. In the diesel version, the 1.5 dCi engine, which is Renault speak for direct, common rail-engine injection, is easily a star among three engines that are on offer with the Logan. It is powerful enough, very fuel-efficient and thanks to its smooth power delivery, easy to drive in traffic too.
Riding and Handling
Riding and handling is where the Logan excels. The ride is plaint and comfortable and body control at speed traffic, thanks to the stiff chasis. Low-speedride is slightly hard and partly stiff side walls of the tyres.
Is It Affordable Motoring
Yes. There are five variants of Logan. The 1.4 petrol comes in base GL and mid level GLE trim. The 1.6 comes only in the top of the line GLX trim. The petrol 1.4 GL costs Rs 4.28 lakh but you only get air-conditioning. The 1.4 GLE comes with power steering and air-conditioning and the top of the line 1.6 GLX comes above the drivers airbag, seat height adjustment, a CD player and remote locking. It costs 5.69 lakh- shattering value for money. The diesel version is slightly expensive than the petrol version because of its powerful engine.
