Mahindra Dealer's Service - A Major concern!

*NEGATIVE POINTS:


*Wipers wipe right to left and so leaves water in the centre.


Interiors Bad.


Seat Quality-BAD- Not very comfortable. Seat covers also not so good. Hence, I put extra leather seat covers.


Light switches and Wiper turn knobs on opposite sides.


Bonnet Release on left side and hence the driver has to lean on the left side to release it.


No Boot release System.


Poor Looks- Very Boxy


Dealers Services and Showrooms are PATHETIC!


Car Very heavy to Drive.


Mileage - 10 kms on Highways.


Switches Panel is too flat and switches are not visible while driving.


Maintainence -Costly.Lots of charges during free services.


Steering Very Hard.


Colors- NOt very appealing.


The Quality of showrooms/service centers and the services rendered are not at all good.Imagine no A.C. in their Service center and showroom at G3 motors Malad and the service centre office is in a basement.They even refused to me show their workshop.


Dealer(Sahil Motors- Andheri West -also known as GMS) from whom I bought my Car in Mumbai closed own in 6 months time without any info. and closed all its contact means.They carried out a shoddy job of anti rust treatment and after their closure Mahindra and other dealers expressed their helplessness in the matter.This dealer took the Cheque for the extended warranty and never remitted the amount to Mahindra and no certificate for the same was issued to me for months.


G3 Motors replaced my Spark Plugs after 10, 000 kms in 1 year where as the Service Book says that they should be replaced after 20, 000 kms and the Board displayed in G3 motors says that it should be done after 40, 000 kms. They never gave me my old spark plugs. No Proper Bill was issued for the repairs work carried out by them. Every time for free service also they charge 100/- to 200/- towards consumables.The Staff at G3 motors and similarllly at other service centres is highly inexperienced & incompetent.


*The positive points about Logan are:



1) Value for Money.


2) Good Ground Clearance.


3) Big boot space.


4)Enough space inside for 5 people to travel comfortably.


5) Sturdiness


6) Powerful A/C


7) Good Ride Quality.


8) Strong Suspension - you don’t feel much discomfort while taking humps or driving thru bad roads.


9) stable at high speeds
