To be honest for the first 1 year we did not have any issues with the vehicle but after that it started showing its true colors. All of a sudden it would die and won’t respond neither the self start nor the kick start and suddenly after one or two days or sometime after a few hours it would again respond to both self and kick. Not reliable at all, imagine you going to office 15 kms from your home and while coming back it would just die, left you stranded. First, I thought it may the battery but after spending Rs.1300/- on a new battery it ran only 15 days without any issues and once again the same problem started.
On top of this Mahindra suddenly closed their authorized service center for its two wheeler without any notice (anyways there are hardly any) so be prepared to give your scooter to an unauthorized mechanic for servicing. They are just not able to keep the standard up, if they continue to operate in this manner they will be perished in 1-2 years.
Mileage is the worst I have seen any scooter giving, if you are going for a 20 km ride with your tank full make sure to refuel again while coming back else you would end up dragging your scooter (of course all this IF your scooter starts)
I am taking this time to write this review because I simply don’t want others to suffer through the same, please take a sensible decision and Do Not Buy a Mahindra scooter.
