From the day 1, I got this Rodeo delivered, I had no peace of mind.
Every now & then I had to frequent the service center of the dealer. List of issues.
Delivery day, the paint on the front mud guard was dented due to mishandling of the delivery team. They told that they would arrange for a replacement mud guard when I come for 1st service. I came for 1st service, all free services are over, they say company is not sending spare for replacement. This assurance went for more that 1 year, later I decided to forget about that.
Next, after 1st service, my rodeo became very thirsty, if you fill full tank, the vehicle would go empty tank after around 120 Km. - Company say tank is 4.25Ltr capacity. The mileage issue would be resolved after 2nd or 3rd service. Three years completed and now, maximum I get of this vehicle is 25 KM.
Poor ground clearance, I had got the shock absorber changed as advised by a technician at Mahindra, significant improvement from hitting the humps.Suspecting the shock absorber was from a faulty batch
Next after 18 months or something, the battery gone dead. Replaced it my cost as it was after one year.
Next, the self starter failed, they told it was bitten by rat, and they replaced it for free. Im suspecting it was a faulty starter kit.
Next, when around two years, my bike created record of some sort, got 10 Km for full tank.I didnt know what is going on, carburetor pipe was damaged. Again, I got feedback from Mahindra, rat bite the pipe. They replaced it for free.
Next, the vehicle started going off during slow speed, found one valve damaged within the carbureator, Luckily, it was within the engine, so they did not say rat bite. Replaced for free.
Now, lastly installed a new air filter upgrade kit. Still the same mileage issue.
Not last but the least, poor service from Mahindra delaer MAHAVEER MOTORS, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. They literally shout at me for genuine reasons Im bringing to their notice.
